firmware 31.0.016 running smooth

for anyone looking to grab the new firmware for the n82 but has read the problems posted thus far, i’m throwing my hat in the ring to tell you my upgrade went smooth. I had to change my country code to euro1, but after that all went well. The phone seems faster and my maps program works great, no hanging. I’m typing this on my newly updated n82 right now, so wait no longer, go grab the new update! I’m looking forward to seeing the change logs to see what all the tweaks are, but for now, all is well on the n82 v31 update.

i have not been able to write a detailed review of the n83 running the new firmware, sorry. But for a quick post here, so far everything is running very smooth. I have had no hang ups yet, no crashing of any programs, as for Nokia Maps, people say that they were having problems with, no issues here. I find that the phone runs very smooth now. I haven’t noticed a much in the way of visual changes, but what was done under the hood seems to be worth the update in my opinion. I swapped out my 2gb card for an 8gb micro sd, and again, no issues. I can now snap 9,026 photos at 5mp on the phone, that seems crazy and the card was only $30 shipped on ebay. Gotta love that. Again, time has not permitted me to write up a detailed review, hopefully soon.

I had to change my product code to Germany to upgrade my phone. Other than that, it seemed to work fine.
Also, with the new firmware, I was finally able to install Maps 3.0.
